Setting the Scene Events & Rental Decor

Fantastic experience: We hired Setting the Scene to plan and coordinate our Church ceremony including transportation to and from the hotel and up to the reception. Diane was wonderful. She did a remarkable job coordinating with hair, makeup, hotel, transportation and reception to make the day run seamlessly. She did iteration after iteration of the day of schedule as all of the pieces kept moving. Diane is friendly, hard working, and reliable. She went above and beyond and we couldn't have done it without her! We felt that her services were a true value.

Fantastic experience: We’re so glad we hired Diane for Partial Planning & Day-of Coordination! From the very beginning, Diane was kind, professional, and incredibly organized. Our wedding day would not have gone as smoothly without her expertise and support. We met with Diane multiple times, both via video calls and in person, and each meeting was incredibly helpful. She took detailed notes to ensure she captured everything we wanted, and her thoughtful suggestions helped us refine our vision. She created a detailed timeline for our vendors and did her best to ensure everyone stayed on schedule. Of course, minor timing adjustments were inevitable, but Diane handled everything efficiently and seamlessly. On both our rehearsal and wedding day, Diane had a calm and reassuring presence. Knowing she had everything under control allowed us to simply enjoy the day without worrying about the details. One of the best decisions we made was opting to add gold-accented decorations per Diane’s suggestion, and we’re so glad we did! She thoughtfully incorporated gold elements throughout the venue, and it all came together beautifully. It was the perfect finishing touch that truly elevated the overall look. Diane was wonderful to work with from start to finish, and we’re so grateful for all she did to make our wedding day such a success. Fantastic experience: Diane did an amazing job for our wedding! We only had 2 weeks to plan for a very small intimate wedding at our house - and it was GORGEOUS. She had such a wide selection and was very flexible on decorating inside when the weather got too cold. My husband and I were so impressed. Everything from set up to clean up was taken care of. Fantastic experience: It’s going to be hard to keep this review brief, but hiring Diane was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! From our very first consultation, Diane made it clear that her priorities were making sure we had the wedding decor that we wanted within a budget we wanted. For a full year, Diane went back and forth with us, sending dozens of emails with floral samples, tablecloth options, color schemes, signage, etc. She considered every single part of our wedding aesthetic to create the customized and colorful wedding of our dreams and every minute of her hard work paid off when we saw the final outcome on our wedding day. Our venue was an art museum, and Diane created the perfect decor plan to pay homage to the whimsical nature of our venue while keeping everything feeling classy and elegant. Diane uses only the highest quality fake flowers - I’m still stunned that all of our florals were not real! Diane also did an outstanding job creating customized decor for our wedding welcome event/Mehendi. She not only created custom signage for us and hand-selected decor from her inventory that matched with the theme of our day, but she also created a detailed decor plan for our day-of-coordinator to make set-up as easy as possible. Diane cares deeply about her couples. She went above and beyond for our whole weekend to make it easy, stress-free, and memorable. She printed our seating chart and welcome signs for us, gave us our bouquet/boutonnieres several days before the wedding, and gave us plenty of helpful tips for our wedding day based on her years of experience. We are so grateful to have had her professionalism and expertise to guide us through the whole wedding planning process. We could not recommend her more & we will definitely be hiring her for all of our event decorating needs in the future!!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I celebrated our 37th Anniversary by renewing our vows surrounded by family and friends. We wanted a Caribbean theme. Setting the Scene created THE most beautiful table centerpieces for us with bougainvillea and other Caribbean flowers. It was PERFECT! The price was very reasonable. Best of all the flowers were delivered so I did not have to concern myself with that detail. The arrangements were delivered in a very timely manner to the venue. We choose 1 style centerpiece for each guest table but had a very elaborate centerpiece for the head table. All the guests could not believe the flowers were not real. I highly recommend using Setting the Scene. They create the arrangements for you. They are so talented. It was a pleasure working with them. Thank you Diane for making our day memorable.

Fantastic experience: Diane is absolutely incredible and seriously helped make the wedding go off perfectly. Diane's attention to detail, her can do attitude, and just her willingness to make sure the event was perfect in every way simply left us speechless. Diane, as our day of coordinator, really let us enjoy our day without any stress. Not only did she cater to the wedding party, but also to the families. When I say everyone loved Diane, literally everyone loved Diane and all of her work. Diane also provided decor for our wedding and that was also amazing! From the floral arrangements, to the candles, to everything else, it was perfect! We could not recommend Diane enough!!!

Fantastic experience: Diane went above and beyond! Did a zoom with me, sent me photos of ideas and was quick and responsive! My mother's birthday was truly elevated because of Diane's involvement. Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved my experience with Diane! We worked one on one several times paired with emails and phone calls for an amazing hands on experience and a perfect wedding. When I had a vision Diane made it come to life and when I didn't have a vision Diane helped guide me until I got there. I brought her everything that I had acquired for my big day and she brought it all to my venue and before my hair was finished the venue was transformed into my wedding! It was amazing and magical! Everything was exactly how we talked about! After the wedding Diane took care of clean up and left all of my decorations in a nice neat pile. My mom played a huge part in helping me plan and Diane got along very well with both of us individually on a personal level. If I have another event in the area we will definitely be using Setting the Scene for our party decor needs.

Fantastic experience: I honestly don’t have the words to describe how wonderful Diane is! When I found Setting the Scene I had no idea she would be able to make every single small detail I was looking for happen. The Bridal shower tea party turned out magical! She was flexible, thoughtful, creative, accommodating and genuinely wants to see your party be everything you could have imagined and some. I don’t live in the same state and she was able to make everything happen with out me ever even visiting the space until the day before.
