Fantastic experience: 3 words to describe Kathleen and Pineapple Processions: Best. Planner. Ever. If you want someone who is going to sugarcoat and lie to you about how much your dreams cost, do not choose Kathleen to plan your wedding. She is blunt and transparent about everything. She is not a dream crusher, she is a realist! If you trust her and give her the room to work her magic, you will have a BEAUTIFUL wedding. Kathleen was able to handle the florals for my wedding and her team did the BEST job. Everyone has raved about how beautiful the wedding was! Without Kathleen and her team none of this would’ve been possible!!!

Fantastic experience: Kathleen and her team are PHENOMENAL! She streamlined the whole wedding planning process and has a solution for basically everything —even if it’s a last minute fix she’s always coming in clutch. Super helpful, concise, and realistic when it comes to logistic—which is definitely a plus for wedding planning! Our day was breathtaking and we genuinely couldn’t have done it without Pineapple Processions. I’d recommended them to anyone.

I had no idea what I was getting into but had a dream wedding in my head and she helped bring it to life with recommendations of vendors and ideas and everything ! Fantastic experience: Kathleen and the team at Pineapple Processions are wonderful to work with! She helped guide me so much through the wedding process, and all of the decisions that come with that (so many details)! She was easily accessible for questions at all times, and every time I got off the phone with her I felt way less stressed. Day of, she and her team had everything taken care of and organized — didn’t have to worry about a thing! I was able to have a relaxing and stress free wedding all thanks to them.

Fantastic experience: Kathleen and her team are the best of the best! From our initial conversation, I knew I wanted to work with Pineapple Processions. Kathleen took the time to offer me a ton of tips and direction for next steps without any commitment. She is very connected in the wedding industry and has many vendor contacts to make to easy on the bride and groom. She’s always available for a quick call or text and is very detailed and organized. Carrie and Tara were the leads on our wedding day and they were absolutely phenomenal! They kept our day on track and made the day even more perfect!! They were proactive and detailed which I appreciated! Great attitudes and personalities by everyone on the PP team!

Fantastic experience: Kathleen and her staff were wonderful when we planned our daughter's wedding earlier this year. Always responsive and generous with her time. We hired many people from her preferred list, and the discounts added up to a substantial savings. Kathleen made my daughter's dream day a reality without bankrupting our family.

Negative experience: Horrible. HIGHLY recommend staying FAR AWAY from Kathleen and her services. We hired her on about 10 months prior to our wedding and had almost little to no interaction with her. We tried and tried to get meetings scheduled with her to which she would explain she was way too busy and had others brides with dates before mine, which I guess meant they were more important to her. She was beyond rude during all interactions, even yelling at me and my MIL once. She was little to no help and ALWAYS had a very strong opinion on things in which her opinion really wasn't necessary (i.e. - my bridesmaids dresses, our budget, where the groomsmen got their suits, etc). She also had opinions about things in which you normally would consult your planner, however when we ultimately made the decision to go a different direction, she would continuously harp on the fact that she didn't agree. Things really took a turn when we were about 40 days out from our wedding, she REFUSED to have a call/meeting with us, stating she was way too busy and the first availability she had was 3 weeks out, and there were still so many undetermined details. After getting my dad involved, she very rudely and begrudgingly agreed to a phone call. During that call (40 days out from the wedding), she got SO many details of our day wrong (i.e. - saving cake vs. not saving cake, first dance songs with groom, mom, and dad, etc.) Additionally, she almost refused to do anything. She did not make our floor-plan - our venue manager did; she did not make the day-of timeline - our photographer did; we paid her and received no deliverables other than a super sassy attitude and HORRIBLE customer service during our few interactions over the 8+ months we worked together. 30 days out from our wedding, we ultimately made the decision to part ways due to her lack of communication, lack of attention to details, horrible customer service skills, and irritable attitude at all times (so snarky and rude). Thankfully, we hired another amazing planner and she was able to help our day go off without a hitch. I'm so thankful we made the decision to part ways with Kathleen, while stressful, it was 100% the right thing to do and even multiple of my vendors agreed (who had worked with her in the past and agreed she was not the best in the business). To top it all off, after we amicably parted ways (my husband and I sent her a very nice email and letter and even phoned one of her other employees who we had enjoyed), she responded with "message received" AND THEN proceeded to message some of my vendors and bad mouth me - completely unprofessional and not acceptable. 0/10 stars and if I were you (and you made it this far) I would STEER CLEAR OF HER! There are so many other details I would love to share, but there is no point in wasting more time on her - I would just stay clear.

Fantastic experience: We had a phenomenal time at our wedding, which would have been impossible without Kathleen's expertise! We cannot thank everyone at Pineapple Processions enough for helping us achieve our wedding extravaganza.

Negative experience: I asked if she was available for an event this year, she laughed in my face, and told me she was booked for a year due to COVID. I could have done without the sinister laugh. Just tell me if you can do the event or not. Dont rub it in my face. Edit: seriously, who wouldn't hang up on someone who just laughed in their face. You may not have meant to be malicious, but clearly it came off that way. Just asking you to be a little professional next time. Glad this got your attention boo!

Fantastic experience: Throughout the 20 months or so of wedding planning with one postponement due to COVID, Kathleen has been so great and accommodating. Her recommendations on vendors are always on point, and she always has the back up plans if things don't go as it is planned. She is calm, prepared, experienced, and professional. After the wedding, my parents could not stop praise about how well Kathleen coordinated and executed the wedding. Hire her for your wedding coordinator/planner! You won't regret it!!!!

Fantastic experience: My husband and i hired Pineapple Processions to help us with planning our wedding and the day of coordination. Kathleen and her team went above and beyond for making sure our day was nothing short of perfect!! She answered ALL my questions, i mean all 1000 of them. She was professional and gave lots of suggestions and tips for how to make our big day flawless. If there was a problem at our wedding, we knew nothing about it! Fantastic experience: Can not imagine how we could have pulled off my daughter’s wedding at The Metal Museum without Kathleen and her fabulous team! Before the wedding, Kathleen steers you in the right direction from recommending vendors who can work with whatever budget to asking you if you have thought about a,b,c to reminding you what you need to get done now and later. On the wedding weekend, she maintains order (with grace and humor) at the rehearsal and then makes everything come together at the wedding even if you have an outdoor wedding with rain storms galore! She is composed under pressure and puts together such a phenomenal team that the wedding party doesn’t have a clue if/when things go wrong. It simply seems seamless due to all of their hard work and professionalism. Worth every penny and by golly you’ll be dying to tip them by the end of the night! Bravo, Pineapple Processions!

Fantastic experience: So I had 7 months to plan my wedding (talk about stressful and overwhelming). When it comes to weddings I did not even know where to start. We hired Kathleen and her team and my goodness I am thankful we did. She is knowledgeable in every aspect you can think of when it comes to weddings! She not only knows so many vendors but also helps you find the most amazing deals! So whatever budget your working from she can help! She helped wedding day by making sure everything was just the way we planned and it allowed my family also to sit back and enjoy the whole day so they wouldn’t have to worry about the little bumps along the day. Just to let you know how good she is, there was a tornado that touched down a mile from my wedding and I didnt even know about it until after my honeymoon. So she definitely can help manage any issue when it comes to your wedding day without you even knowing about it I guarantee it! Highly, highly recommend Kathleen and her team!

Fantastic experience: Having been married before but never had a wedding, I didn’t know what to do or expect. I was told HIRE A PLANNER! I asked around and The Big Kahuna at Pineapple Processions was recommended to me. Our first conversation where she explained ‘wedding speak’ to me was about an hour and I was needless to say overwhelmed. After checking with my fiancé... She was my first hire and the best decision we made for our wedding. Kathleen keep us on time, on target and helped us to make sure we considered elements we never thought of to make our day special. She came in big w helping us find vendors and a venue when our options were not working. She has so many great resources for us and we honestly now just want to hang out with her and her husband because they have become legit friends. ❤️ Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be and a large part of that was because of Kathleen!!!!

Fantastic experience: Kathleen, Thank you so much for making our wedding weekend so dang easy! Once the vendors were booked, she completely took over! We only had a couple of meetings over coffee to discuss our needs and expectations, and you exceeded them! You accommodated for us so well since we live so far from Memphis now... thank you! The rehearsal ran so smoothly and quickly... like 30 minutes I’m pretty sure - record breaking (at least for me). Lastly, our wedding day timeline could not have gone any better! The wedding party, Logan, and I never felt rushed or behind the entire day! We were literally able to go with the flow and, most importantly, enjoy our day with our friends and family. Fantastic experience: Our whole wedding day was perfect from start to finish and we have Kathleen to thank for that. When my husband came to me and said we needed to hire a wedding coordinator, I was skeptical. "Who needs a wedding coordinator anyway!?" (I'm going to ruin the ending for you, we did, you do, everybody NEEDS a wedding coordinator.) He scheduled a meeting with Kathleen at Pineapple Processions and we knew right away that we NEEDED her. Her personality immediately matched ours and we knew right away this person would end up being a close friend of ours. I always tell people, "we hired Kathleen on a Tuesday, and she had our wedding planned by Thursday." She brought us the most amazing vendors and worked through what seemed like an impossible venue. She listened to us complain, gave us advice, and was super patient with us when we had 10,000 other things going on. Did I mention she completely flipped an entire venue in 45 minutes AND managed to wrangle a crazy group of friends and family? When I say we wouldn't have had a wedding without Kathleen, I'm serious. We are so grateful we found Kathleen, and we cannot thank her enough for everything she's done for us.

As a mother of the bride, a wedding planner is an absolute must to relieve the stress of doing it all yourself. The owner and her staff are top notch!
