Fantastic experience: Wedding planning can be one of the most daunting tasks a couple can take on, but Michelle made it the most seamless process ever. With both of us having full time jobs, we definitely needed Michelle in order to make the wedding of our dreams happen. Michelle has access to the top of the top vendors, and across the board, we had guests come up to us and tell us it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Every detail and touch was so meticulously thought out and without Michelle, nothing would have been possible. If we could give her 6 stars, we would. Thank you so much Michelle for coordinating and giving us the best day we could have possibly ever imagined!!

Fantastic experience: Michelle is exactly who you want for your wedding. We hosted a large-scale, three-day celebration, and not only was everything breathtaking and elevated beyond our expectations, but it was also completely smooth sailing. If there were any issues behind the scenes, my husband and I never knew about them. Michelle is a true professional — calm, poised, and completely unflappable throughout the entire event. But our journey with Michelle began long before the wedding weekend. Planning a wedding, whether big or small, can be overwhelming — endless vendors, bridal shows, venues, and opinions pulling you in every direction. Michelle not only has a trusted list of preferred vendors, but she curates recommendations that fit your aesthetic, personality, and overall event vibe to build a cohesive and harmonious team. I came to Michelle with so many ideas swirling in my head, and she brought every single one of them to life — beyond my wildest imagination. Thanks to her organization and expertise, we had our entire three-day celebration fully planned and buttoned up six months before the big day. Then, because I can be a bit mercurial, I threw a major curveball three months out: I wanted to completely flip the spaces — an indoor ceremony and an outdoor garden dinner. This meant a full redesign and transforming a traditional ballroom into the ceremony space of my dreams. Not only did Michelle make it happen, she nailed it. She knew exactly which vendors to bring in and executed it flawlessly. Michelle isn’t just a visionary and a genius in her craft — she’s one of the best human beings you’ll ever meet. She makes even the most stressful parts of planning exciting and fun. There’s no greater peace than having a confident, seasoned professional at the helm of the massive ship that is a wedding weekend. We truly adore Michelle and now consider her family. Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience! Michelle was incredibly detailed, responsive, organized, proactive and an overall pleasure to work with. She made my wife and I feel comfortable throughout the process and relieved us from all the stress that comes with planning a wedding. Her recommendations on vendors worked out great as it made the on-boarding/hiring process for each vendor very easy. She exceeded our expectations, which were already very high. Beyond her talent organizing the entire event, she was just generally fun and very enjoyable to work with.

Fantastic experience: Working with Michelle was the best decision we made for our wedding day. She is so much more than a planner (which she is great at), but she is a designer!!! She helped our unique wedding theme come to life in a way that was fun, chic, and yet still very much a wedding. We knew we wanted to work with her from our first conversation- she asked thoughtful questions and understood and was excited by what we were trying to create. Considering we were living in DC while planning a wedding in Palm Springs, we knew we needed someone we could trust wholeheartedly. With Michelle, that was absolutely the case. It was evident she was professional, kind, smart, creative, and competent. This ensured us that we could trust her with every recommendation and decision we had to make. Every vendor we worked with for our wedding came from Michelle’s referrals, and they all were stellar. They were all talented and professional people, and just as important, they were all super kind and good people, too. Because of this, our wedding day was a dream. It was so fun to see our collaborative ideas become real. Also her wedding day execution team was wonderful. Natasha and Andrea were so on it and so so so so nice. (Also such a great hype crew!) Our wedding day was a beautifully curated, fun, and personal event that our guests haven’t stopped talking about, and we haven’t stopped dreaming about. Hire Michelle. You’ll be thanking us later.

Negative experience: Let me start by saying we loved our wedding, let me finish by saying it was not because of Michelle and the parts that fell short were the parts we let Michelle take over. First and foremost, if you are Indian or Pakistani, do not expect your culture, your traditions, or what you want to be respected or researched by Michelle. Both my fiance and I work pretty trying jobs and I was not planning on taking any time off during the planning process specifically because we paid a hefty amount to have Michelle fully plan all of our 3-day wedding. Of our total vendor count, Michelle found us 2 vendors we decided to go with, she never gave us options at all for any vendors — there was always just the 1 she suggested and she wouldn’t provide the information on that one vendor until it was absolutely too late to look anywhere else. She didn’t bother to help us stay even remotely close to our budget, and was completely unreachable aside from forwarding us bills to pay because of the job she is truly passionate about, which is being a part of a Southern California group for wedding planners. One example of her awful planning was when I told her my number one priority was cake (because I’m a baker), she ended up suggesting a cake vendor that was horribly suited to us and whose cakes were dense, overly sweet, and not unique in any capacity. when we went out on our own to find another cake vendor to use, they turned out to be in the same city Michelle lives in with better pricing. Why hadn’t she given us any choices except that one horrible vendor to begin with? Why did I have to go searching in Michelle’s own area to find another cake vendor 3 weeks before our wedding from across the country? Let’s move to “weekend of”planning. Michelle arrived at the hotel hours late because she hadn’t appropriately budgeted for traffic, already upset that we weren’t available to let her come get things from our room that she refused to let us ship to her directly. Because she was late (I’m assuming this was the cause), our table assignment display (which we had discussed multiple times, I had drawn a diagram of, I had taken time to write explicit instructions for and literally only required her and her assistants to stick a record in a sleeve) was completely wrong and confused our guests to the point where they complained to us and family members who were most likely to be offended never received their record. One might think she’d make up for all this with her great attitude and friendliness? No. One of our vendors we were already close to told us about how rude she was and a “run-in” he experienced with her on our wedding weekend and she did nothing to help the flow or flexibility of timing during our wedding. Despite an extensive call with our photographer about the time and locations he’d need to use, michelle did not help to coordinate that timeline which resulted in us not being able to get photos in the one signature area of our venue that we wanted and ultimately we got pushed out to the parking lot of the venue to take photos in 113 degree weather. She was snarky and dramatic with my mother and father in law at multiple points throughout the weekend. The desserts and cake we had to find? Shoved in a dark corner on wedding day, the fact that we asked to save our top tier of the cake —she ignored that request (we’ll never get that one back so thank you Michelle!). The napkins and matchbooks my mother in law had printed for us? Never used, found in a box returned to our room from the planner’s room after the weekend. to be honest I’m just thankful she stayed out of my way that weekend but I hope this helps other brides find a planner that will truly care about a day that holds a significant memory for them.

Fantastic experience: Michelle and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with. They made wedding planning a breeze. Michelle communicates incredibly well. She will help ease the stress of planning as well as help calm your nerves as a bride. Michelle helped execute visions and dreams we had for our wedding and all of the events leading up to it. My bridal shower and our wedding felt like my dreams came to life. She will provide you with incredible vendors and all the tools you need for a successful event. Michelle is worth every penny. Fantastic experience: Michelle was amazing, we had a wedding weekend at The Hyatt Indian Wells with about 200 people and couldn't be any happier with the outcome!! From the start she asked what our vision was for our big day and from there created wonderful design boards and found us vendors that suited us best! The design boards came to life in an even better way than I could've ever imagined! She took time to get to know us as a couple to create a very personalized "us" wedding. Her team is also top notch and I ended up feeling stress free and like a guest at my own wedding. A bunch of our guests keep raving that this was "the best wedding" they've ever been to - I might be biased but I have to agree! Michelle and her team helped us plan the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, the wedding itself and a farewell brunch - each event felt unique to itself but all somehow in our taste. Fantastic experience: Professional communication, organized process, and good ultimate product. Day-of coordination was a bit choppy, but I think that's always the case when you're using a new venue and/or an air bnb as a venue (both of which were true for us). Very happy with the overall result and strongly recommend Michelle to anyone considering her services. Great cost/benefit too.

Fantastic experience: We just recently celebrated my daughter’s 16th birthday. Michelle, was not only detail oriented, but completely in tuned with all of our needs. She went above and beyond to provide an epic sweet 16. I am thankful for her and her team of vendors she recommended. The party was better than I could’ve ever imagined.

Fantastic experience: We had the privilege of working with Michelle. Her planning from start to finish was amazing! From our first call of going over what we’re looking for to when she sent us our design boards were spot on. She worked with us to find cost savings where we could but still create our dream wedding. No words can truly express how beautiful our rehearsal and wedding was. The rehearsal was perfect, from the table settings to the beautiful succulents. We loved the vibe of the night and could not have chosen a better location. Inside the barrel room was so pretty and we loved all the details and dried oranges. The food was delicious, and the servers and bartenders were so nice. Everyone said it was like a mini wedding from the outside with the lights to the inside with the drapes over us. It was beyond gorgeous. The wedding was everything I could ever dreamed of plus more! I kept taking small moments and looking around at the details from the table sets, to candles, to beautiful flowers, to our amazing sweetheart table. The sweetheart table was so amazing, the setup was great and made us feel so special with our cabaña with lights. The falling flowers off the table and on the sides of the cabana were amazing details. It was so much fun and so well planned. Thank you to your amazing team for being there early and setting up during the hottest day ever! I hope everyone was safe with no issues. Courtney was so sweet and helped me feel comfortable all day! I loved having her nearby at all times to help keep everything on schedule and move people around to the correct location. She helped with fanning me, keeping me cool calm and collected all day. Everyone loved her and were so thankful to have her around. You and your team were so sweet and setup a beautiful wedding. I am looking through all the pictures and videos of the day and just smile at it all! Thank you so much from the bottom of both of our hearts, you produced our dream wedding. All of our guests kept saying this was the best wedding they've been too and how beautiful everything was! I can't say it enough Michelle but thank you for all you did.

Fantastic experience: Michelle is a true professional inside and out! She helped guide us through our entire planning and design journey offering tips and advice along the way. She has an extensive list of wedding pros at her fingertips. All we had to do was describe what we wanted and Michelle would say “I know the perfect vendor for that”. This was so helpful especially being a gay couple. Finding vendors was a source of stress at the beginning since it felt like we had to come out to them each time was inquired. But Michelle took all that stress away because she knew exactly the right people who would affirm our love. Michelle has a wonderful eye for design and knows what works and what doesn’t. Trust the process and you will be left speechless the day of your event. We are so happy with our choice to work with Michelle to make our dream wedding a reality.

Fantastic experience: Michelle doesn’t miss any detail, she is extremely organized, always conducts herself in a professional manner, is so responsive and a lot of fun to work with. Fantastic experience: I literally should have made this review the night of my wedding. Michelle was an absolute dream come true for me! First of all, we hired her because my fiancée and I had an extremely difficult time deciding things and narrowing down our options of vendors. My parents suggested a wedding planner and like it was meant to be, we met Michelle at our food tasting from our venue. At first our concern was pricing, but Michelle is WORTH EVERY PENNY AND THEN SOME. She’s an extremely hard worker and makes your wedding just as important as if it were her own. She took so much stress away from me and I couldn’t be any more thankful for her. She was able to solve any problem I had within the day I presented her with that problem. I would recommend Michelle to anyone who needs a wedding planner who gets things done and keeps your wedding dreams in mind.

Fantastic experience: Wow... where do I even begin?! Michelle was our saving grace for our wedding! Let me start off by saying that we were supposed to get married in 2020 but then had to postpone due to COVID. I was devastated and wasn’t sure which route to go. Michelle was super supportive through it all, and we finally decided to set the date for 2021, and we are so happy we ended up having the big wedding of our dreams. Michelle did our vision board, (got my exact dreams and vision on paper) and helped with everything! We even had a details meeting at a winery! She feels like family when we are all together! She really knows her stuff and will give you the best advice while keeping your vision alive. On the wedding day her and her assistant Caroline did an amazing job. I didn’t even know that we had a cake mishap on the day of, but I found our that Michelle saved the day and remedied the situation and well as other small details. Throughout the night she kept us on track and was totally on top of it. Her assistant Caroline was great as well and she kept us informed on everything and did a great job making sure my dress wasn’t dragging! For a future bride reading this review, if you were to do anything for your wedding, PICK MICHELLE!

Fantastic experience: Where do I even begin? Our dream wedding came to life all because of Michelle. Michelle was professional and punctual, even late hours of the time when it was crunch time. I was amazed how fast she not only responded to my emails but also actioned my requests. Michelle had a professional relationship with other vendors that allowed us to have everything run smoothly. Our guests said we thought of every single detail and nothing was overlooked, again all thanks to Michelle. We can’t thank Michelle enough!!

Fantastic experience: Michelle was amazing! Due to COVID-19, we had to change wedding venues last minute and plan a whole new wedding within 5 weeks. Michelle made sure all our vendors were coordinated and aware of everything and did an amazing job day of to make sure everything ran smoothly and on time! She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to planning a wedding and we couldn't be happier we had her to help with our special day! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Michelle planned our "Micro wedding" in 5 weeks! She made my Pinterest board come to life. I told her my vision and she immediately started sending me options that were above and beyond what I thought was possible. All of her vendors are top of the line and incredibly responsive and professional. She took all the stress off of me and made the experience incredibly pleasant, which seems to be a contradiction to the average wedding planning experience (especially in 5 weeks.) She had answers for all of the random questions I had and was accommodating to our non-traditional requests. On the wedding day, I was so relaxed knowing she was overseeing everything and we could really enjoy the night. The investment is truly worth having a professional organize the day of your dreams!

Fantastic experience: Let me first start by saying that Michelle saved my life! I don't say that to be dramatic; I say it cause it is true. My wife was turning the big 5-0, and she had been on me about not coming in with a bag of tortilla chips and some nacho sauce with a taco guy, or I would Googling "Divorce attorneys." You see, my wife always throws me parties because I am a 4th of July baby, and I am special! So my wife always hooks me up. So I asked a friend that I trust that put me in contact with Michelle, and she saved my marriage and my life. She got me the best catering services, DJ, rental company, and cake maker around. She helped this lost husband, who has never planned an event, let alone a great birthday party look great. She hooked me up with the most legit 80s party. I highly recommend her and would give her ten stars if I could. Thank you so much, Michelle. Your the best in the biz. Respectfully-AAA

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about the 50th birthday bash that my husband had Michelle help him to throw. He's never thrown a party in his life, and none of my guests would have ever known that. Clearly, it was all because Michelle handled every detail. I have a super controlling demeanor, and it was hard to sit back and not question things. At the end of the day, I will be utilizing Michelle myself for my next event. Thank you for making my 50th amazing. I have ZERO complaints, and that says a lot!

Negative experience: At our first meeting with Michelle we were very excited to work with her as she seemed great. But man did that change. She was extremely difficult to deal with throughout the entire process leading up to our big day. Which would have been fine if she had done a good job on the day of our wedding. But that was the farthest from what happened. Not only was she rude to the staff at the venue, but she was also very snappy with our entire family during the rehearsal and day of. After sending our bridal party details and table assignments multiple times through her site that we HAD to use, everything was still wrong the day of, it was like she never even checked her site that she made us input everything into. It was bad enough that she kept getting the bridal party names and order wrong, but the fact that our table assignments were so messed up that the parents were sitting in the very back of the room nowhere near anything was absolutely mind boggling.. We also had to pay for her to have a “helper” there the day of, although that didn’t help much. They still did not put the reserved signs out for our family for the ceremony or put the programs out for our guests to have. The whole day was filled with issues that could have easily been avoided had she done a better job preparing for the day of. Of course, we were not expecting it to be absolutely perfect and knew some things may come up, but the snappy attitude and rudeness to our family/guests/ and venue staff made the situation much worse. I would highly recommend looking into other options for wedding coordinator if your venue requires one and/or you want one.

Fantastic experience: I cannot imagine planning a wedding without Cara, she is a complete master! We booked Michelle Garibay over a year in advance of our wedding and Cara supported us throughout the entire planning process. She had honest and helpful advice and she is full of ideas and resources. Our wedding was at Temecula Creek Inn and Cara coordinates with them SEAMLESSLY!! I got so much reassurance knowing that Cara worked so well with them. She helped us replace a vendor when one of them went out of business, she suggested design elements that helped elevate our decor, and importantly she told me what was NOT worth it or not needed. She kept me very grounded. In addition to being an experienced professional who is highly organized and responsive, she also has a very friendly and relaxed demeanor which was helpful to balance some of my nervousness. She provided reassurance that we were on track throughout our planning. She also got along with all of our family members and helped make them a part of the process as well. One of the things that I found most touching is that she makes you *feel* like a bride and the most special person. She took a lot of work off our plate so that we could enjoy the days leading up the the wedding. She kept reminding us "You don't have to worry about that, I will take care of it." I may have a Type A personality but I had so much confidence handing everything over to Cara. She really allowed us to enjoy every moment :) On the day of our wedding, I was completely speechless about how beautifully everything came together and I know that it took a lot of hard work from Cara to make it happen. We are deeply grateful for all her time and expertise and giving us so many sweet memories <3 Thank you Cara and Michelle Garibay!!!

Fantastic experience: Michelle Garibay really knows her weddings! We loved working with her throughout the year and she really went above and beyond for us in all aspects. Tiana and Cara on her team were our day of coordinators and they were AWESOME. Overall great experience.

She knows EVERYONE and because of her amazing connections with vendors we not only saved money but we ended up with the most beautiful decor and the most talented vendor team all thanks to Michelle. She knows what will look amazing and makes sure you stay true to your theme or feel without getting overwhelmed by ideas from Pinterest. I could not be more grateful for her advice and hard work. She has AMAZING taste and knows exactly what goes and what can help make your wedding unique to the two of you. She had such fun and creative ideas. We were SO happy we booked her full service planning as we would have been lost without her. Our day went perfectly thanks to her and her team. She took care of everything so I didn't have to stress. Cara was our planner and did a great a job helping with the planning of our day. They offer different packages and that worked best for me. I was able to find something that was gonna fit the needs for me and my husband and my family. I primarily wanted a planner to help coordinate the final details with vendors and to help with the set-up and breakdown of our event. Cara did such an amazing job that my husband and I and my family could completely enjoy our wedding day. I never once felt stressed. Thank you so much for everything!
