Positive experience: We connected with Bluebonnet Events after another company was booked and recommended that we reach out to Amanda and her team. We were looking specifically for rehearsal and wedding day coordination services. After payment, there were a few periods where we found ourselves wondering when communication would pick back up to get things moving. Amanda later shared that it was due to being swamped with other weddings. While we completely understand how busy wedding season can be, a quick text or email update during those quieter periods would have been appreciated. That said, when it came to the rehearsal and wedding day, Amanda and her colleague were fantastic. The execution was seamless and calm, and you could clearly see their experience at work. They were incredibly helpful and truly made the day fun while keeping everything on track. They worked like wonderful “behind-the-scenes” helper bees, ensuring both the ceremony and reception flowed smoothly without us needing to step in or explain a thing. Overall, we’re grateful for their support in making our wedding day run so effortlessly. :)

Fantastic experience: A huge thank you to Bluebonnet Events! From the very first conversation, they explained every detail clearly and made the planning process very easy. The floral arrangements and decor were absolutely beautiful, and having rentals (linens/decor) available made everything so convenient. The coordination throughout the day was excellent — we were able to simply enjoy our event. 100% recommended!

Negative experience: We hired BE for decor set up and breakdown for our wedding. Based off our experience, I would never do business with them again. You will be left on read, treated like your business/event doesn’t matter once it is happening or over, and given excuses because they can’t stay on top of their own operations. Things as simple as confirming our event timeline ahead of time, checking in with us, were not done. Reading and responding to emails takes them weeks. Or you may never get a response. They have no problem taking your payments, though. Poorly delivered contracted services agreed upon and they did not do several things they were supposed to, left all my family, myself and the groom scrambling to do the job we hired them to do at the end of the night. Awful experience. Owner was never present and sent people to work our event that I’d never seen, spoke to, had no contact information for, and we weren’t told this would be the case. Poor follow up, customer service, and execution of services overall. Several things were set up wrong at our wedding, incomplete, or never done. I was assured ahead of time our requests would be met but they most definitely weren’t. They were the most disappointing vendor we hired for our wedding. We would not recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience with bluebonnet for our rentals! We planned and coordinated ourselves and Amanda was so accommodating and understanding. She went through our list probably a million times and helped us know how much of each item we would need. Her team that came to set up and break down were so nice and professional and did a beautiful job. They were so enjoyable to be around❤️❤️ can’t recommend bluebonnet enough for small or large parties! We will be working with them again soon I’m sure!

Fantastic experience: Bluebonnet Events did our linens for us and they were great! I had so many last minute changes that needed to happen and Amanda just rolled with them all and offered her support throughout my entire planning process. If we ever have another big event that requires rentals I would absolutely choose them again and I have already recommended them to a friend of mine who is getting married later this year!

From the first conversation we felt at peace and supported with every element. She was proactive in answering questions, and jumped in wherever needed. She was so gracious with her time and let us enjoy special moments- but also wasn’t afraid to tell us to sit down and eat our food The day of, she was a rockstar. Her and her assistant had my husband and I feeling so loved, respected and cared for. She was executing our vision exactly, handled any potential issues before they even happened, and my family was so in awe of their professionalism and charisma the whole event. I decided to embroider my table numbers and fell a little short on time! They finished them and I’m so grateful they’re now forever woven into my husband and i’s story. Fantastic experience: Amanda Brown is AMAZING. I had large party for a milestone birthday at a venue in Austin. I invited 125 people, and had it catered, and I selected Amanda and Bluebonnet Events to be my event coordinator. I am so glad I did. She is very experienced, and helped me tremendously in planning cost effective and lovely decorations (my request). She supplied anything I needed and didn’t want to purchase (like cocktail table linens, greenery, even the best cups to use for the bartenders), which was so easy! She also has experience with bartending and alcohol, wine, mixers etc and told me just what to order - made it so easy. She was responsive to every text and every question. She created a timeline and coordinated with all the vendors. She was on-time to the event and so friendly and down to earth - my guests loved her as well. I also liked that when she would ask me a question, if I seemed like I couldn't make a decision - she could tell and would say "Ok, I'm going xxxxx - does that sound ok?" and I was so grateful. She is not timid, but also not aggressive in anyway. She is the perfect personality you want for a successful and stressful event. Loved her and highly recommend her company.

Positive experience: We had a great experience with Amanda and Bluebonnet Events. We utilized their services for our wedding. We had Bluebonnet Events as our day of coordinator for 8 hours. Prior to the wedding, it was helpful to have them with any questions we had about planning a wedding, creating a timeline, and asking for vendor recommendations. Amanda was always kind and willing to answer all of our questions even though we technically only had day of coordinator services! On the day of our wedding they were so helpful with keeping us on a timeline. They set up/decorated our reception as well as helped with clean up which was our main concern. Overall, we would recommend their services!

The bartenders were attentive and nice to our guests, and kept everything organized. Amanda as our day-of coordinator was SO helpful leading up to the wedding; she provided referrals, tips, and guidance for every question we threw to her. Fantastic experience: When my beloved niece announced her elopement to marry the love of her life [with only a few days’ notice and nearly 2000 miles away], I knew that having beautiful flowers would help make her day special and that I had to make it happen. I began a Google search for wedding planners in the San Antonio area, because I knew nothing and no one there. It was serendipitous that my first call was to Blue Bonnet Events. I have extremely high standards and, from the moment I spoke with Amanda Brown, I was immediately put at ease by her kind and gentle demeaner, and I knew that I need not look any further. Time was of the essence. Amanda quickly realized how important it was for me to get this right. She knew exactly what to do and say, she reassured me that the impossible was possible by carefully listening, and patiently asking the right questions to help me sort out what I was looking for on behalf of the bride. She offered options, we exchanged photos and ideas, she offered to circle back with more ideas…and she did! I was sure that we were in the right hands and not for a moment did she let me down. Amanda and her team not only met, they exceeded our expectations. My niece was thrilled and absolutely loved the floral arrangements – the bouquet and the boutonniere specifically were perfect. Fantastic experience: My husband and I were doing a 10 year vow renewal. The original place we decided on required a 'day of coordinator'. That's how we found Amanda at Bluebonnet Events. She was easy to talk to and easy to trust. As the date approached we realized that, even with the small package that we chose, the venue was still going to be over our already tight budget. We asked Amanda to think WAY out side the box for the 30 people or less guest list. She reached out and had a meeting with the Hard Rock Cafe. This was the perfect place for our red carpet themed wedding do-over. Amanda helped me keep in contact with Hard Rock when I had questions and needed clarification on stuff. Being able to get in touch with Amanda whenever I needed really put my mind at ease. There were a few times when I hit panic mode and Amanda was there to reassure me and take care of whatever the issue was right away. Not only was she there for the rehearsal, she came to the walk-through the week prior. I can't sing her praises enough. Amanda made it really easy to enjoy the wedding day with my family and be care free. I made the flower arrangements and some of the table décor but rented the rest of the themed décor from her. It turned out so much better than I imagined. The hair and makeup ladies that Amanda recommended also did an amazing job. The wedding went smoothly. Everyone had a great time. It couldn't have been a more perfect day. I would absolutely recommend Amanda at Bluebonnet Events for your special day.

Fantastic experience: To preface, I'm a very organized, methodical person and have experience planning and dealing vendors, etc. I went into planning my wedding feeling confident that I could handle it on my own. However, my sister was adamant about getting a wedding planner, so eventually I caved. I am so thankful I did. I could not have done it on my own - even with my whole family helping. IF YOU'RE ON THE FENCE ABOUT GETTING A WEDDING PLANNER PLEASE DO. It makes all the difference. Amanda was able to provide us with a comprehensive list of phenomenal vendors (all of whom we were happy with) and rolled with it when my husband and I's vision for the wedding changed more than once. Amanda made everything flow smoothly. When it comes to planning a wedding, there are a lot of small details that are easy to overlook (ice, extension cords, etc.) - Amanda knows what needs to happen and takes care of it. Life throws curve balls, and there's always something that goes wrong on the wedding day. For us, there was a major wind storm that damaged the reception tent. We got married in mid-December, so without the tent, guests would be standing in the freezing rain all night. Had I planned it myself, that's what would have happened. However, because of Bluebonnet Events, by the reception, the tent was not only as good as new, but decorated and heated. The best thing I can say about Bluebonnet Events, however, is that they made our vision come to life. Looking back our wedding was exactly as we'd hoped. Amanda and her team worked to make our wedding ours - even though it wasn't a conventional wedding. They listened to what we described and help turned our idea into a reality.

Fantastic experience: I don't even know where to begin. Simply put, Amanda and her staff are THE BEST!!!! Amanda and Aaron made sure my wedding ran smoothly. They are professional and fun to work with. Amanda made sure my wedding was exactly what I wanted. My guests kept commenting on how beautiful everything was at my wedding and how great of a job Amanda and Aaron were doing all night. My contacts got dry. Amanda comes in with drops for my eyes. My sis in law tore my strap off my wedding dress, Amanda comes with her needle and thread and sewed it back on. She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. Fantastic experience: This place was recommended by the venue i reserved for my upcoming wedding. I must say the pricing was the best I could compare and the service is on point. I have not had my wedding yet but Amanda is graciously working with me on getting all my linen and Centerpieces and floral. She is very helpful on helping me decide the color scheme and is patient and understanding while making any changes necessary. Fantastic experience: Amanda was incredible , we did not have a single worry on our wedding day! We hired Amanda as our day of wedding coordinator. Amanda came highly recommended, from the initial contact and through out the process Amanda responded quickly. The day before and the day of our wedding she answered our calls each and every single time, never allowing it to go to voicemail. I provided Amanda with a list of all the vendors and she contacted them days before the wedding to confirm arrival times. She was constantly reassuring us she had it under control. She worked well with our vendors and made sure they were all on our timelines. She decorated our venue beautifully, the setup exceeded our expectations. Our sweetheart table looked like a picture you would save out of pinterest. Thanks to Amanda our wedding was completely enjoyable without any concern to the details. Amanda was available and communicative, she helped me pick out decorations and even offered to make centerpieces. She gave me great ideas and advice, and told me straight up what I needed to do and which tasks she would cover. She was extremely organized, kept up with my vendors, had backup plans, and provided me with helpful to-do lists and deadlines so I could stay on top of planning and balance my personal workload. I especially want to thank this team for having my back when I realized 10 minutes before the ceremony that I had forgot my wedding music. Without any hesitation, Amanda downloaded our wedding songs on her cell phone and Cene played them each at the perfect moment, even adding a “fade-in” and “fade-out” effect between the songs which gave the whole ceremony a professional and elegant touch. I wouldn’t have walked down to any music if it weren’t for the quick action from Amanda and Cene. Thanks to their services I didn’t have a worry in the world on such a chaotic and important day. They ensured everything was covered so my family and I could relax and enjoy the day to its fullest. And we did! I would definitely recommend Amanda to anyone needing a Wedding Planner or Coordinator!

Fantastic experience: Amanda and BlueBonnets were one of the best decisions in vendors I could have made for my big day! Amanda was incredibly helpful in the pre-planning stages; even in areas in which she didn't have to be. I went to her with questions on the actual venue when the venue coordinator was out of town--and she was nothing but helpful! It was important to me to have waitstaff & bartenders who had been at the venue before, as in my experience that tends to lessen the chance for last minute problems--and they definitely delivered! The linens were delivered on time and set up in what seemed like record time (they estimated to be done by 2 or 3pm; and they were almost completed by the time I arrived at the venue at 1:30) Dinner was served in a timely manner (buffet style); and the cleanup crew did a great job of cleaning everything up quickly and unnoticeably. While I didn't get the chance to meet the bartenders, all of my guests had nothing but great things to say about their friendliness and service, and I am so glad we went with them! In addition, an important family piece was accidentally packed away with the other dishes. When we realized it was missing, Amanda took time out of her vacation to contact the staff that night; and people who could look and located the missing cake slicers! She offered to drop them in the mail, at no cost to me (though I opted to pick up). Working with Blue Bonnets was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend them to any of my friends looking for: linen/dinnerware rental; food servers/cleanup and bartenders.

Fantastic experience: I'm not even sure written words will accurately describe how Awesome Amanda is! (Maybe that's why her name starts with an A!) She provided the linens for my surprise 50th birthday party! Even though the linens were WHITE, there were no stains or discolorations! AND, they were perfectly pressed! Outside of this client experience with Amanda, I've known her for a while now. We've been stranded together in *almost* life-threatening situations, we've enjoyed floating the river "networking" with other industry professionals, AND we've also been able to develop a real friendship! Amanda is a REAL person, true to her word, dependable, and a bit OCD to make sure nothing is overlooked for your wedding or event! She's what I refer to as a go-getter! I'd gladly photograph any wedding or event she's planned because I know she's going to make my job easier! I highly recommend Amanda!! (OH, and don't say anything because I don't want to share her friendship with a lot more people, but she's A TON of fun to hang out with! Her sense of humor is above reproach and her laugh is contagious!) I love me some Amanda!

Negative experience: We hired Amanda to do our floral arrangements and as a day of coordinator. At the consultation I showed pictures of what I wanted. She gave me a price and it was significantly lower than others I should have paid attention. She did not give me what I asked for. The centerpieces looked like hobby lobby floral arrangements to which she added roses. Yes she had the nerve to put fake flowers. She also added pink everywhere when our color was fuchsia. She completely cheated us. The worst part is our family probably thinks it’s what we chose and have bad taste. We are so embarrassed. As far the coordinator role she does nothing. She would never respond to our emails until 2 weeks before the wedding and even then she never provided us with a preview of the floral arrangements even though she said she would. She followed the timeline and that is it. All the details like packing our gifts, belongings left overs DIY stuff setting up our exit she was suppose to pack a slice of cake for us but apparently who knows where that ended up. my bridesmaids were running around doing everything. Thanks to her lazy self my best friends no longer talk to me because “ I had them running around “ I don’t understand why Amanda let that happened. She never checked on us throughout the wedding. There are so many things she didn’t help with unfortunately I don’t want to make this review any longer.
