Fantastic experience: As an event industry vendor who has worked alongside many planning teams over the years, I can say without hesitation that Whimsical Creative is among the best. Bethan is organized and so wonderful to collaborate with. Events are always well designed and thoughtfully planned with a clear and structured plan that leaves nothing to chance. By the time event day arrives, every vendor on site knows exactly where to be, what to do, and who to call if anything comes up. That level of preparation is so appreciated, and not only does it help keep the jobs of vendors running smoother, it results in beautiful events for clients. Whimsical Creative's floral services are beyond beautiful! Their cohesive designs showcase their talent and each client's individual tastes. I highly recommend them for both floral design and planning/coordination services.

Fantastic experience: Whimsical Creative was one of the best decisions we made! Melanie helped bring my vision to life on paper, and Yuri, Leslie, and Jace executed it perfectly. Yuri even added creative touches that elevated my whimsical garden party vibe in the best way. Flowers were one of the most important part of my wedding, and they went above and beyond—every arrangement and candle detail was absolutely stunning. It was truly unforgettable, and I’ll remember it forever!

I was so impressed on how everything came together and was set up on the day. I brought lots of personal/DIY items and they set everything up perfectly. They even helped pack everything into my dad's truck at the end of the night! Bethan worked with all my vendors for smooth communication. I didn't have to answer any big questions on my wedding day! It was a smooth process from beginning to end and I never felt pressured by them to do anything. They followed my lead. I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding day, it was absolute perfection and it all started with Whimsical!! I also used them for florals and they were STUNNING. You simply cannot hire a better florist. They seriously know what they're doing. All of my vendors asked if we were also using them for florals, because they were my planners as well, and, because they have the best reputation around. I had a budget for what I was looking for, and they still delivered really stunning pieces. We repurposed aisle arrangements for our tables, they adjusted when we had to change from rectangle tables to rounds for space. They're awesome professionals and I'm so happy I used them for florals!

Fantastic experience: If you're thinking about getting a wedding planner, do it! Bethan was our planner and overall she did a great job making sure we stayed on track with planning and she did help us put out metaphorical fires that came up on short notice as well as connect us with our vendors! Looking for vendors would've been too overwhelming without her; she narrowed them all down to options for us and would find us more options if we weren't happy and we were very happy with everyone we booked! I think where she was absolutely indispensible was the immediate lead-up to the big day (contact with vendors and last min prep) as well as making sure everything was as streamlined the day of as possible. Things may always go wrong but she handled it! The other late night coordinators who took over from her later were also amazing helping us make sure everything wrapped up well and they even helped pack our stuff at the end of the night. It really felt like we were VIPs honestly! Bethan also helped us develop our vision and turn it into a cohesive design plan that worked seamlessly with the floral team. We also used Whimsical Creative for our florals as well and it was so convenient to have both teams working closely with easy communication. Melanie herself headed our floral design and we felt so attended to throughout the process of planning our florals! It's hard to go from on paper to seeing it in real life sometimes but we are so glad we trusted them. I feel like that really helped bring our dream to life because the floral team absolutely killed it! I cannot stress that enough. We are so happy with how our wedding turned out and couldn't have done it without Whimsical and Bethan!

Negative experience: They don’t keep their word

Negative experience: This is more educational than anything else. We wanted full service planning but didn’t want a large wedding. I was willing to spend the 10k on full service planning for a smaller wedding because I was a busy professional. The owners seem like great people - but the fine print on the contract is you will be given any planner on staff (even if you’re verbally told it will be one of the owners). Out of the gate - you’ll be told things are out of scope (they don’t help with save the dates for instance) and the contract says they are not obligated to respond to emails in <3 days. I bet they are great for brides who have a lot of time - but if you’re a busy professional - I recommend a smaller firm with true full service planning. We ended up breaking our engagement and for half the price of what we paid here - we got a planner who ran through fire for us. Again - mostly an educational post for new brides to not get caught up in social media posts. If you want a smaller wedding - I think this likely won’t be a fit!

Fantastic experience: Bethan and the team at Whimsical Creative are outstanding. They took my wife’s vision and brought it to life. Planning a wedding is stressful, they break it down enough so that we got to make the most out of every decision made. Overall experts all around, and the execution on the day of was flawless, really glad Bethan pushed me to make a speech that I did not prepare for, they really thought of everything. The two pictures included show you that everything was perfect, how many times have you seen a dance floor that packed at a wedding! Again thank you Bethan and the team at Whimsical Creative, forever grateful.

Negative experience: I was my sister’s maid of honor and was very disappointed with the wedding planning services. Due to a short planning timeline, the first planner lacked structure and wasted valuable time, which led to her being let go. One of the owners stepped in and was helpful at first, but on the wedding day things fell apart. The owner left early, leaving an assistant who was unfamiliar with the plan. The seating chart was wrong, the music and dance order were mixed up, and issues couldn’t be fixed without adding unnecessary stress to the brides. They also forgot to put out all the personalized blankets meant as guest favors, leaving my sister with many unused, non-returnable items. The wedding itself was beautiful, which I’m sure they contributed to, but for the cost we expected much better coordination. Overall, a disappointing experience, and I would not hire them for my own wedding.

Fantastic experience: Choosing Whimsical Creative was truly the best decision we made when planning our wedding! From the onset, Melanie (our wedding planner) had great communication! As a couple that lives out of state, she made sure to communicate all deadlines within a reasonable amount of time for us to book vendor appointments to accommodate our traveling. Melanie made the research part of wedding planning 1000% less stressful as she provided a list of vendors for each category (venues, food, photography, djs, etc) that best aligned with our vision. She truly did the legwork in researching whereas all I had to do was the fun part of looking through beautiful photos and meeting wonderful people! Melanie’s organization was IMPECCABLE! I’m a teacher that is often described as being very organized and Melanie’s organization blew mine out of the water. Whereas I look at the small picture and what’s next now, Melanie helped us with the bigger picture and staying on track with meeting current and future deadlines. When it came to our wedding vision… we didn’t have one. Melanie advised us to create a pinterest board where she drew inspiration from to create the most beautiful design plan! From the linens to the custom-made chandelier, Melanie created the wedding of our dreams! Everything was truly perfection! Not only did they make our wedding look like a dream they made sure it felt like a dream. We spent our wedding day celebrating with each other and our guests never having to think about anything else because we knew Melanie and her team had everything under control. To showcase their amazingness even further, Whimsical Creative planned our Rehearsal Dinner as well! We are SO grateful to have had them! Twenty- four hours before our Rehearsal Dinner, there was an unexpected change in locations. When Melanie called to inform us, she already had a solution and was working with the rental company to find linens that matched better with our new location. If anyone is a bride’s lifesaver- it’s Melanie! So if you’re a bride that is on the fence, please know that Whimsical would literally create a door in that fence that would be too beautiful not to walk through to choose them!

Fantastic experience: Bethan, her assistant Sarah, and the entire Whimsical Creative team were hands down the best investment we made for our wedding. Bethan went above and beyond as our coordinator, working tirelessly in the lead-up and on the big day itself. She handled every challenge with calm professionalism, making me feel completely at ease. Bethan anticipated needs I didn't even know existed, asked the right questions, solved issues before they became problems, and offered thoughtful advice whenever we needed it. Her proactive approach and expertise were invaluable. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. I wholeheartedly recommend Whimsical Creative, and Bethan in particular, for anyone who wants a stress-free, beautifully executed wedding.

Melanie has not just great attention to detail and awesome ideas but also a very positive attitude and calm energy that made our wedding go extra smoothly. We went with the partial planning route since we were out of state while planning our wedding, and she made the entire process so smooth. Her recommendations for vendors, as well as her familiarity with the venue we chose, gave us direction when we were lost, and immediately keyed in on our style and vision when we didn’t even know it yet. The florals and attention to detail were fabulous, and I knew she and the WC team had our backs no matter what came up on wedding day.

Fantastic experience: Whimsical Creative were so awesome and helped make our wedding extra perfect. We did event planning with them for our wedding and Jackie really went above and beyond. They made me feel like I didn't have to worry about a thing and when a dress malfunction occurred they came to my rescue! They made sure we got to eat and enjoy our wedding. Jackie coordinated all of the vendors absolutely perfectly. It truly was an absolute dream. I felt little stress because I knew they had it all figured out. They did our flowers as well and they were absolutely beautiful. I'll cherish the ones we dried forever. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. They truly made our day whimsical!

Fantastic experience: Wow! Words cannot describe what an amazing planner Melanie at Whimsical was! She absolutely knew what she was doing. She planned everything amazingly and I cannot be more grateful for the amazing with she did. I had not a single ounce of stress the whole planning process. She contacted all vendors and dealt with everything all I had to do was sign the final contract. We also used Whimsical for our florals and they did a fantastic job. They took everything I asked for and went above and beyond. I cannot believe how smooth our wedding day went because of Melanie and her Whimsical Creative Team we were calm and just got to live in the moment on the most special day. Fantastic experience: Melanie was absolutely fantastic to work with throughout my entire wedding planning process. We met and signed a contract in October 2023 for a December 2024 wedding date. I opted for partial planning as I had booked some vendors already and wanted to share the load in decisions. From the start, I knew Melanie was smart, organized, and had vision. She does an amazing job both advocating for your desires but also incorporating her expertise to give an alternate opinion. As the months continued, I started to feel a little nervous as life continues to throw curve balls. I called Melanie in an emotional pickle and she reassured me. She talked me down, listened to my concerns, and then walked me through a path of next steps to tackle together. On the wedding day, there was a massive curveball that 100% would have ruined my partner and I’s wedding. Melanie mitigated the situation with my husband and father- making sure I did not know what would’ve been a catastrophe. I had the most amazing wedding day ever. It was only till I got home that my husband told me what happened. And how Melanie was a STANDOUT. If you want someone who has your back in the planning months and also can finesse day-of hurdles- absolutely consider Melanie as your number one choice. She also did our florals and they were BEAUTIFUL AND EXACTLY HOW I ENVISIONED. Perfection!!

Fantastic experience: Whimsical Events has an amazing team that took so much stress off our shoulders when it came to the wedding. Their planning portal made it super easy to have all of our vendors, decor, etc. all in the same place. Jackie was phenomenal as our day-of coordinator and made it so we could actually enjoy the day instead of stressing out about all the details.

Fantastic experience: If you pick whimsical creative everything will turn out perfect. The venue, the music, the photos, the video, the cake, the dj, the flowers, everything. They have access to the best people and all the contract partners they are affiliated with work together like a well oiled machine. If this is your first wedding here is what I learned working with Whimsical Creative: you will be in charge of your own invitations and sending them out, they will check in to make sure to remind you but that is your biggest task if you use their full services. Also, you will need to check in on your budget if you decide to throw in add ons (painters, performers etc.) it will make your budget go up unless you tell them to take something else out to stick to the budget. I think this is something you don’t think of when having your first wedding so it’s good to make sure people know to over communicate price with every wedding planner out there. I thought weddings were hard to have as a bride. It was so fun and easy with Whimsical Creative. We worked with Karli. Her type A “in the ball” personality is EXACTLY what you need to pull off a great wedding! She is super organized and probably wakes up and doesn’t need coffee to turn her brain on like I do lol. She is perfection! We also worked with Bethan who is extremely helpful and such a great listener. They make the perfect team. I hope this helps who ever reads this decide to pick this team. It’s been weeks since my wedding and everyone is still talking about it!

Fantastic experience: For the longest time I was debating whether or not to get a day-of coordinator for my wedding- I ultimately pulled the trigger and I can’t stress enough how much it helped. From ensuring all vendors (of which there end up being way more than you think) were on the same page, to decor set up, dress bustling etc, and of course ensuring flow of events during the day are perfect, it was absolutely essential, and Whimsical Creative make it extremely easy. I wanted to give a special shoutout to Bethan (our main coordinator) and her assistant, Jen, who made my wedding so smooth and stress free. Fantastic experience: My first glimpse into the world of Whimsical Creative began with a meeting with Melanie. As a newly engaged bride to be, I had no idea what the wedding planning process truly entailed. Melanie’s cool and confident personality and detailed explanation of what it means to hire a wedding planner made me feel so comfortable and ready to get the process started on the spot. After that, there was no question. I was determined to plan my wedding with Whimsical Creative by my side!! Soon after the initial meeting, I met Karli, whose bubbly, go-getter personality, complemented Melanie so well. Moving forward, Karli handled the wedding planning while Melanie handled the florals, and let me tell you, they are a force to be reckoned with!! Each meeting with them was filled with laughter, and every decision we made got me more and more excited for the big day. They have such a talent for what they do. They took my idea of “something simple” and created a dream that I didn’t even know I wanted. They blew not only me, my husband, and my family’s minds, but the minds of every. single. person. at our wedding. Everything on the big day was absolutely seamless and beautiful and classy and stunning and every other adjective that equals amazing. My wedding day was the best day of my life, and I owe it all to Karli and Melanie. They made magic happen, and I cannot thank them enough!!

Fantastic experience: I am seriously blown away with happiness by the work done by Melanie and her floral crew. My wife Catherine and I (Schyler) searched and searched and searched for a florist that understood what it was we wanted out of our wedding decor but almost always found that other florists were either way off the mark in terms of style, or way out of our budget. When we eventually found Whimsical Creative, we saw a reasonable budget and decided to reach out. We were a little worn out at this point from all the searching and honestly didn't have super high hopes given the past florists we'd spoken too. Right off the bat, Melanie reached out to us asking to meet her over a zoom call, which we did, and WOW she got exactly what we were going for right away. Catherine and I wanted an autumn color wedding (a difficult thing to do in Houston where its green almost year round). It was very important that native Texas foliage was used in the wedding (Catherine and I are both Biologists/Ecologists). I also personally wanted lots of pumpkins and gourds to help give spooky feels and extra Autumn feels. Melanie just got it. She ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT. We had so many pumpkins and gourds, and sweetgum leaves and sunflowers and Goldenrod and so many preserved orange and brown flowers and it was all placed and arranged so wonderfully throughout the venue. We were really going for warm natural woodsy cabin feels and all the decor was placed just so. Catherine's bouquet was stunning too and it looked like she was a princess of the woods. The groomsmen and I had wonderful boutonnieres that matched the green suits we were wearing perfectly. I really cannot express enough how satisfied we are, Melanie and crew are so trustworthy in vision, punctual in meetings and communication, friendly and constructive, and just made our dream wedding come true.

Fantastic experience: We worked with Karli Himarios at Whimsical Creative to plan a wedding in 4 months. We also used Whimsical for floral arrangements: they were beautiful. Karli was unstoppable in planning and executing the wedding of our dreams. The event was magnificent and our guests were extremely pleased. Karli has a lot of experience and it shows. No matter what questions we asked, she always had cogent, confident responses. Throughout the planning process she followed a preset schedule that gave us time and flexibility to make decisions. She worked around our schedules and it felt like she valued our time. At the event, Karli seemed to be everywhere at once. She and her team did an incredible job. We placed a lot of trust in Karli and we are sure you can too. Thank you Karli and the whole team at Whimsical!

Fantastic experience: We loved working with Melanie/Whimsical Creative for my daughter's big, beautiful Houston wedding at the Astorian. Melanie helped us from the start of the planning phase by creating a mood book based on the bride and groom's vision, which was a valuable resource to share when meeting with vendors. She kept us on task with the timeline, hiring of vendors, payment schedules (great software access), etc. and met with us several times for status updates, and ongoing detail planning. She was always responsive to our many calls and emails. She met with us and the reception venue coordinators, and created our floor plan layouts which were complicated and ever changing throughout - her attention to every little detail was crucial. And, of course, her presence on the day of was priceless so that we could enjoy the entire event from start to finish without worries. Her calm, assuring demeanor was a welcome presence throughout the process when we were feeling frantic and overwhelmed. All the planning and details ultimately created a memorable, gorgeous, magical wedding and reception. We couldn't have done it without her. We highly recommend Melanie and Whimsical Creative for your event or wedding.

Fantastic experience: We HIGHLY recommend Whimsical Creative as one of your vendors for your wedding day. We used them for our florals, and Melanie was with us from the very beginning to the end of our wedding planning process. She made our experience so personal and fitting for the style we were looking for. Wedding florals can be incredibly expensive, so we shopped around at about 6-7 different vendors before finally landing. I felt so comfortable with Melanie, she was understanding of how stressful and overwhelming the wedding planning process can be, and she was the organization queen! With the business' background in wedding planning, she had so much information and background that you typically would not find at other florists. We went back and forth with her quite a bit to really nail down what we were looking for, and she was so patient with us the whole time. We always felt like we were taken care of, and we're so grateful we had Whimsical Creative play such a large part in our wedding day. Fantastic experience: Where do I even start when describing how amazing Karli, Cherish, and Melanie are? I was never someone who perfectly pictured their wedding, I just kinda knew what I did and didn’t like at other wedding. Let me tell you- I was BLOWN AWAY by what Whimsical Events came up with. I told Karli to go crazy and work her magic and I’ve been told by everyone that ours was the most beautiful wedding they had been to. Karli is truly the “Patrick Mahomes of wedding planning” as my now husband says. In my wildest dreams I could not imagine a more perfect wedding- all of which I attribute to Karli, Cherish, and Melanie. Karli took my random ideas and turned them into something tangible- she helped me figure out a vibe, a color scheme that I loved, and really helped us figure out what our priorities were. We stated from the beginning that we wanted a party to celebrate with our friends and family and that food and drinks were a major priority. Karli immediately started brainstorming vendors and ideas- things that I definitely would not have been able to do on my own. I personally hate decision making, but Karli made it so easy and I never felt overwhelmed in the process. When it came to flowers, I just knew that I wanted lots of color and creativity- I didn’t just want roses. As soon as I met Melanie, I knew we were floral soulmates. Whimsical doing both planning and florals meant that everyone was on the same page and were working towards the same objective. Cherish was such a calming presence leading up to the big day- the poor woman was answering my last minute emails and assuring me that everything would be okay, and if not, she would handle it. On our actual wedding day, Cherish killed it! Both of my parents have said how impressed they were with the design and Cherish’s direction. Thanks to Whimsical Events, we've received nothing but compliments, with multiple people saying that we had the best wedding they've ever been to. Words will never express the gratitude I feel- I never felt like Whimsical Events were just wedding planners, I felt like they were friends that just happened to put together amazing weddings. My suggestion is to be open-minded and see what Karli can put together- me and my husband both were amazed to see her design plan and she has an awesome eye for design. Hiring them was probably one of the best decisions we ever made and we gladly give them all the credit. They truly helped create the best day of my life, which I never would have been able to have without their ideas and guidance.

Fantastic experience: As a Hair and Makeup artist that works with wedding planning companies often, I have to say my experience with Whimsical Events has been exceptional. From start to finish, they show unwavering commitment that every aspect of the wedding is perfect, including hair and makeup. One thing I appreciate about working with Whimsical Events is their attention to detail - a planner reaches out over a month before the wedding to work on the timeline to ensure every detail captured perfectly. The planners are also incredibly organized and responsive and makes my job as a hair and makeup artist so much easier. On the wedding day, they arrive early and keep us on track with time. I would highly recommend Whimsical Events to any bride-to-be, their attention to detail, organization and professionalism are second to none, and they are all around cool, funny and awesome ladies to be around and cannot wait to work with them on another wedding!

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for an amazing floral designer to bring your wedding vision to life, Whimsical Events is the floral company for you! We were over the moon with all of the décor and floral arrangements at our wedding. Melanie and her team took all of our thoughts and ideas for the look and feel of our big day and made them a reality. They also added extra touches that really made it all so special. We can't recommend them enough!

Negative experience: What a waste of money. I wished someone would have warned me. Higher prices do not correlate with higher value. It seems I paid money to have twenty- somethings be rude to me and essentially create more stress than relieve it as were my intentions when hiring them. The wedding had several glitches that shouldn’t have happened if they were “on top of things.” What a disappointment.

Fantastic experience: The team was very welcoming and helpful throughout the whole wedding process! Anytime I had any questions or concerns, they were very prompt and addressed any issues. They are proactive and very professional. And most importantly, I felt I have gained a friendship with them!

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a wedding planner, here you have a team of them! We thought that we could take care of everything all by ourselves but we were wrong! We got married at the Crystal Ballroom at the Rice and Whimsical Events is one of the preferred venders. They are the most competent wedding planners! Jen, Karli, and Cherish are amazing talented professionals, and such cool people. They made the whole process of planning our wedding fun and stress free. From every vendor they recommended to every small detail, everything was so amazing. I can’t get over of how perfect was my wedding day was! Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a wedding planner PLUS floral trust us and just choose Whimsical Events!! I was always amazed by them but even MORE amazed come wedding day. Fantastic experience: I hired Whimsical Events for event management (day of coordination) for our wedding. I cannot gush enough about how wonderful it was to work with our coordinator Kasey. She asked all the questions in our initial meeting that made me realize that despite thinking I had our wedding basically all planned, there were a lot of details I was missing. Really my only regret of wedding planning was not hiring them for full planning early on. In the weeks leading up, she took over vendor communication and helped iron out all the forgotten details and last minute vendor issues that popped up. I really appreciated her responsiveness whenever I needed anything, and my husband and I could not believe how smoothly our day went and how easy it was for us. We felt as relaxed as we could knowing we had Kasey there to keep us on schedule and confident in her abilities to handle anything that may come up. Cherish assisted on the day of, and together they did a fantastic job keeping everything moving and getting everyone where they needed to be. On top of that, they regularly checked in on how my husband and I were feeling, and ensured we were fed, hydrated, and happy all night. We can’t thank them enough for facilitating a perfect day!

Fantastic experience: I can not speak highly enough of Karli, Melanie and the entire Whimsical Events team. We used Whimsical for our decor planning, rentals, bouquets and day-of-planning (which is truly month of planning). My only regret is not using Whimsical from day one to help plan the entire event. They take the time to truly understand your vision, and to make sure you've thought through every aspect of what is needed to coordinate all of your vendors. By working with Melanie, we were able cut part of our decor budget in half by renting through them instead of buying things we wouldn't use again. They are so passionate about their clients and you truly feel like you have one of your best friends by your side doing whatever they can to give you and your loved ones the best day. If you're considering Whimsical, I recommend meeting with them. You will see what we saw in that quick 30 minute conversation - they are professional, knowledgeable, have the connections and the positive energy you want when trusting someone to make the vision you've worked so hard on come to life.

Fantastic experience: We booked Whimsical Events for our wedding planning and florals and they were absolutely fantastic! Melanie handled our florals and Kasey was our day-of-coordinator. I truly don't think our wedding would've turned out the way it did without their help. Melanie perfectly captured our vision with our florals and created the most beautiful arrangements for our Fall wedding! Kasey literally kept us sane and did such an amazing job working with all our vendors and organizing every detail of the wedding. Fantastic experience: We used Karli for the design of the wedding and month-out coordination. Kasey was our day-of coordinator. Everyone with Whimsical Events was professional and friendly. Karli was amazing at helping us with the design portion of our wedding – we were completely lost on design, theme and colors, and she really thoughtfully pulled together a beautiful and cohesive theme that reflected both of our likes. She was able to take broad inputs, come up with a design proposal and adjust accordingly to be able to meet both the bride and groom’s expectations. Karli was also a huge help in referring us to other vendors for the wedding. For day-of coordinating, Kasey helped relieve pre-wedding anxiety and ensured that all vendors were coordinated, and everything was where it needed to be, when it needed to be there. If we had one complaint, I wish that we had started finalizing our timeline earlier than the week of our wedding, as that process felt a bit rushed and caused some anxiety as far as not having any answers when vendors contacted us directly and asked when/where/what they were to be doing and at what time. Overall, we would definitely recommend Whimsical Events!

Fantastic experience: Truly worth every penny, the flowers were beautiful and everything they did with them. Wonderful team to work with as well, very helpful and knowledgeable. I somehow overlooked the fact I didn’t add boutonnieres for dads or corsages for mothers, but they were able to whip two up for the dads in no time for us! All the centerpieces came out perfect, our head table was BEAUTIFUL, we did a flower hedge on black stands with greenery draping down and hanging glass globe candleholders which was amazing. They had everything set up in a timely manner and even had to do some flowers outside on the pillars while it was raining… They do what is needed to get the job done and make it look great!

Fantastic experience: If you're thinking about hiring Whimsical Events for your wedding, DO IT! I worked with them for both wedding month-of coordination and florals and absolutely loved it. Cherish handled everything so professionally and familiarized herself with every contract that I booked even before our first meeting. Seeing how capable she is really gave me confidence in letting her handle all vendor communication during the month of the wedding so that I could focus on other things. She kept up and executed all the little details that I wanted on my wedding day without skipping a beat. She literally made my life SO EASY on the day of the wedding and everything went so smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day! Not only is she super organized and thorough, but she's also just the sweetest person to work with and so easy to befriend. I have no doubt that she's going to continue to coordinate successful weddings and make many, many, many more brides happy, as she did for me! We also worked with Jen as a second coordinator on the day of the wedding. Even though we hadn't communicated prior to the wedding day, Jen knew exactly what was going on, where to be, and what to do. She packed up all of our personal belongings (and we had a LOT) and got them back to us afterward. She and Cherish were really the perfect duo for our wedding day! The florals that Whimsical Events did for my wedding BLEW ME AWAY!!! I cried when I saw my bridal bouquet because it was so, so, so gorgeous and my guests couldn't stop complimenting how beautiful the flowers were. They perfectly executed my vision of a "spring wedding" and brought my dream wedding day to life. The greenery and florals that they hung on the chandelier of my venue (Iron Manor) was absolutely gorgeous and it truly felt like I was transported to a little secret garden. I LOVED the variety of flowers and colors they incorporated into the design and I will be dreaming about those flowers for the rest of my life. I really appreciated Melanie's responsiveness to my inquiries, her fast turnaround, and her professionalism! She is enthusiastic and gave me great suggestions on the overall design. Overall, I couldn't praise the work that Whimsical Events did for me more and I highly recommend them to any bride looking for wedding coordination and floristry!

Fantastic experience: We used Whimsical Events as our planner and florist for both our "micro wedding "and larger wedding celebration. We planned a ceremony with 20 people and a party with 150 people two weeks later. Honestly, we had a limited vision and weren't sure exactly what we wanted- nor did we have any idea of colors or anything else. Karli stepped in and helped put together the event we didn't even know we wanted, hitting on all of the little details, and was special to us in the ways that mattered. She helped us to come up with a vision of what we wanted and brought it to life perfectly. We had the most beautiful black and white formal ceremony and a reception full of color! Each event was so much more than we could have ever hoped for. We were lucky enough to have Melanie with us on our wedding day and Karli with us for the reception. They both were so incredible! The girls and their team made everything come together SEAMLESSLY on our wedding day and made sure all of the stress of the logistics and coordination of both days was perfect. They really took care of us and made sure we were able to have an amazing time with the people we love. As a bride and groom, we threw a blank slate at them and they made it all happen for us. We are so thankful for their great work for us!

Fantastic experience: We used Whimsical Events for florals and decor for our wedding on 2/13/22 at Meekermark. Melanie was with us through the entire planning process. The team created some absolutely beautiful arrangements that matched exactly what we asked for. We added greenery around some of the pillars in the reception space, and it completely transformed the space in the best way. Thankful for them, highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I stumbled upon Whimsical Events by chance but it was as if destiny brought Karli and I together! Alex (my husband) and I are both resident physicians with pretty busy schedules in Galveston. We decided to plan a wedding in Houston with most of our families from out of town. Karli was extremely flexible with our schedules and made time for us even outside of her office hours. I am not a bride who knows exactly what she wants and Karli always presented us with the right number of vendor options that gave us enough variety but not too many options to overwhelm us. She is relatable, enthusiastic and VERY organized. You can tell that she knows exactly what she is doing. As the weeks leading up to my wedding day approached, my anxiety would wax and wane and Karli was always there to calm me down. My appreciation for her multiplied on my wedding day. Karli and her team made sure all my vendors were on the same page, knew exactly what time to come and set up and coordinated everything perfectly! Fantastic experience: As MOB I wanted a planner that I could trust to make our special day run as care free for us as possible. From the moment we hired and met Melanie she was there for us every step of the way! All of the pricing was fair and transparent with no surprises, and boy, did she and her team deliver! All the pre planning and meetings really paid off because they understood exactly what my Daughter wanted to create for her big day. From the timeline to creating the feel and mood of the day at both the Church and at Sandlewood Manor, Melanie and her team were there for us! I cannot express how important this was except to say that I was so confident that everything would be taken care of that I pulled my daughter aside first thing that morning as we began to get ready and told her to let go of all the things she may be worried about because we had a great team to take care of everything! We felt we could trust them! My goal was to have everyone enjoy the day and have FUN!!! I even got a compliment from the videographer that I was the most calm MOB he had ever worked with and that’s because I knew everything would be taken care of! From the moment you walk into their offices, you can tell their design prowess. The same shows through in their floral design (as I hired them for both planning and floral). I worked with Melanie the day of, as well as the weeks leading up to the wedding. She was always very responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Whimsical events provided florals for the event and I'll I can is WOW! They were GORGEOUS! My client was so happy with the way everything turned out, and as a planner that's what is most important.
